SANIseal™ Hose Identification – Saint Gobain

Category:

Description

Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics has resolved the issue of hose identification with the new SANIseal TM  silicone label encapsulation system.  This unique one-step system now allows the fabricator or end user to record information such as date of manufacture (DOM), lot number, process used on, fabricator’s identity, part number or simply the telephone number to call for a replacement.  Combine labels with a system of color-coded brands for easy identification of hoses.

SANIseal™ Advantages

The SANIsealsystem meets or exceeds FDA requirements on hose identification, ensuring for the first time, full compliance and easy to follow SOPs.  The SANIsealfield fabrication system is lightweight and very durable; can be used anywhere on site or within a fabricator’s facility; and covers all hose sizes through 3.00″ ID.  It operates on the push of a single button; the curing cycle is automated, including the cool-down stage.  The machine can hold two separate molds, allowing fast changeover in hose production, and the operator can inspect the pre-cured label and make final adjustments prior to initiating the permanent encapsulation.

The SANIseal™ system simplifies compliance with ever-increasing demands for process validation and timely replacements.  It not only saves time in identifying batches of hoses allocated to manufacturing suites, but allows simple positive identification prior to production.
